I worked with Vicky for over 20 years and throughout that time we shared many happy and sad times together. I cannot believe Vicky is not at the end of a phone or message and I miss her so much.

As a friend Vicky was a rock who was always there to help, support, and give good honest advice. Vicky was a friend you could trust and she was so kind and thoughtful, always putting everyone else before herself.

The highlight of Vickys life was the birth of the twins. Vicky had always wanted to be a mum and there was no mum who could have loved and treasured her children as much as Vicky did. They are an absolute credit to her and the family.

In her career, Vicky was incredibly dedicated to her job and always went over and above to try and help customers. Often this was in her own time and she always received compliments and thank you notes. Vicky was always available to help others in her team, she was so well respected and liked. The photograph attached is from an awards evening in Halifax a few years ago when Vicky was nominated for the Customer Care award and got through to the finals. Even then, Vicky was worrying about leaving the twins at home when she was away!

I am grateful for the time Vicky and I shared. In summary, as a mother, professional, and person she will always be inspiring to me. Vicky was so very strong and brave towards the end of her life, her suffering is over, so rest in peace Vicky and thank you for everything xx
